The staff at our new vets near Oswestry.

The senior vet is Clive Bourne who qualified from Bristol University Veterinary School in 1983. After spells in Bishop Auckland, Co Durham and Selby in Yorkshire he came to work in Llangollen. In 1992 Clive became a partner there in what was then Woodhall and Bourne, now renamed Dee Valley Vets.

In 2000 Clive achieved the Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons following over 2 years of study and work experience with other dermatologists, the submission of a casebook and success in written, oral and practical examinations. He is thus well qualified to give second opinions on difficult skin cases.

   Clive has 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 ex-battery chickens and 4 children!

You will also meet Becky Rowe, an experienced vet who qualified from Liverpool Vet School and has worked for us, on and off, since 2006. At the moment she has a sheepdog Zara, several ponies, and frequently helps her father with his sheep.

We have recently been joined by Becky's fiance Clive who comes to us after several years mixed practice experience in Cumbria, Cheshire and Shropshire.

The morning receptionist at Rhyn Park Vets is Kate Gray. She and her husband are keen on trialling with their 4 working dogs.

In the afternoons the surgery is manned by Debbie Tromans who is devoted to her Airedale Terrier!
